College sees 12 percent growth

Twelve percent growth in full-time students is the number reported by Montgomery Community College President Dr. Chad Bledsoe during the county commissioners’ budget retreat, where Bledsoe and others met with commissioners to discuss the upcoming budget year. In speaking about the growth, Bledsoe noted it was an exciting time at the college and acknowledged much of that growth is related to the early college, the Career and College Promise for high school students and the expansion of the gunsmithing and medical programs.
