The Star Board of Commissioners met for their regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Monday, June 13, at 5 p.m., at the Town Hall. All commissioners, the mayor and town employees were present. Thirteen members of the Star Heritage Association (SHA) joined the meeting.

The mayor called the meeting to order and the 2022-2023 budget was approved as presented. After the agenda was adopted and the required ethics disclosure was read, Bill Hudson, president of SHA, presented a photograph of a new, metal sign. His request to replace the old sign at the southern town limits was approved. Commissioner Russell will assist with the installation.
